German Report on Renewable Energies (28.08.12)
The decisions of the Federal Government on the transformation of Germany's energy system have defined the outline of the energy supply system's future structure: By 2022 Germany will have phased out nuclear energy. The aim is that the lion's share of the energy demand will be covered by renewable energy sources by 2050 with 80% of the electricity demand and 60% of the final energy consumption being supplied by renewable sources.
